ornithologist Dr. Salim Ali is a great man who laid the foundation of the environmental movement.He was also awarded the National Medal of the British Ornithologists Union in 1967.

As a tribute to Dr. Salim Ali at Mumbai zoo our children from Shreerang Charitable trust with visual impairments, mentally challenged and transgender have made a painting in his memory to honour his great work in the field of ornithologist and environment.
